How Homebase handles personal information.

This policy is for people who visit homebaseanalytics.com.au or enquire about our services. We serve Australian businesses, from Sydney. It is written in plain English. It is not a substitute for legal advice.

Who we are

Homebase Analytics Pty Ltd (ABN 17 699 195 590 / ACN 699 195 590), Sydney, Australia. Contact: lachlan@homebaseanalytics.com.au.

We build first-party, onshore data pipelines for Meta advertising and targeting. This policy covers two different things: this website, and the client pipeline if you become a customer.

What we collect on this website

If you only browse:

Pages you view, the page address, and approximate time on the site.
Technical data such as IP address, browser, and device type.
Cookies and similar IDs that Meta uses to measure ads, including _fbp and _fbc when they are present.

If you request a Homebase Audit we also collect the first name, work email, website or booking link, and any message you type. That enquiry is stored in Australia and emailed to Lachlan so we can send you the Loom and Gap Report. It is not written to the Sydney Vault. Vault rows are hashed event receipts only and are never sent to an AI model.

Meta Pixel and the event path

This website uses Meta Pixel (dataset 1725543968848279) and posts matching events to our first-party endpoint at capi.homebaseanalytics.com.au. That is so we can see whether ads and the site are working.

Meta Platforms, Inc. receives those events. Meta processes data outside Australia, including in the United States. We cannot honestly say that no website-visitor data leaves Australia while the Pixel is on.

We do not use a cookie wall. If you do not want Meta to receive this activity, use browser controls, a tracker blocker, or do not submit the form.

Why we collect it

To answer audit enquiries and tell you whether a pipeline is worth installing.
To measure our own advertising on Meta and improve this site.
If you become a customer, to install and operate the pipeline on your domain, keep an onshore event log, and report to you in plain English.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not send personal details to an AI model to write copy or train models.

Client pipelines (Sydney Vault)

If you buy Foundation or Core, events from your customers are collected on your domain. Personal details are hashed before Meta sees them. A log is kept in the Sydney Vault, in Australia. Meta still receives hashed events so your ads and targeting can work — that copy can leave Australia. You stay owner of the domain and the tracking. Access for us is temporary and can be revoked.

How long we keep a client log, and how you export it, is agreed when we install. Ask if you need that in writing before you proceed.

Who else may see it

Meta — Pixel and Conversion API events, as above.
Email — audit enquiries are emailed to Lachlan and stored as a work ticket in Australia.
Infrastructure we use to run the site and Gateway — hosting and the Australian edge that receives first-party events. We do not ask you to pay those vendors.

We may disclose information if Australian law requires it.

Access, correction, and complaints

Email lachlan@homebaseanalytics.com.au to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to complain. We will respond as promptly as we reasonably can.

If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner: oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints.

Changes

We may update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top is the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
